This media exhibition introduces tragic pages from the life of prominent figures in art and culture, whose childhood was spent surviving all the hardships of the Great Patriotic War (22 June 1941 to 9 May 1945).
Today, the actors’ names are well known: Vera Vasilyeva, Vasily Lanovoy, Igor Kvasha, Lyudmila Gurchenko, and Evgeny Evstigneev; artists Boris Messerer, Eduard Kochergin, Sergey Alimov, and many, many others.
Each began life with a military childhood. Tribulations tempered them and accustomed them to finding the strength to achieve their goals.
