The Jerusalem Russian City Library welcomed the exposition brought by the specialists of RSAL from Moscow - “The Theatre of Borovsky: Russian Stagecraft in the Collections of RSAL”. The exposition was opened by the Director of the Jerusalem Library Klara Elbert and the Director of RSAL Ada Kolganova who spoke of theatre career of Borovsky dynasty. The library’s current activity and its potential as a modern art library mentioned by Ada Kolganova aroused much interest. The exposition became a significant event - the opening ceremony attracted 70 people. Natan Sharansky had high regard for the exhibition. The city authorities of Jerusalem, political figures, artists and other representatives of the creative community united by the Russian Library held active discussion about the displayed works of the outstanding Russian artists, studied the activity of RSAL and proposed promising projects.
The exhibition will be open for 3 weeks and then will move to the Russian Center in Tel-Aviv.
