On 19 October 2023, the Russian State Art Library (RSAL) hosted a long-awaited meeting with the performers of the Theatre on Trubnaya (The School of Modern Plays) took place at RSAL. The topic of the meeting was the Dramatis Personae Competition, in which our library is directly involved.
The meeting was attended by: Ekaterina Kretova — art director of the Dramatis Personae Competition, theatre critic; People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Shulga; Honoured Artists of the Russian Federation Maxim Evseev and Olga Gusiletova; Vadim Kolganov and Julietta Shabanova; playwright, finalist of many drama competitions Ekaterina Timofeeva; students of Olga Gusiletova’s Workshop.
Students, together with actors from the Theatre on Trubnaya, read three excerpts from the latest collection “Best Plays 2022.” Some plays from the collection are already being performed in Russian theatres.
At the end of the evening there was a quiz and three winners received certificates to attend performances at the Theatre on Trubnaya.
