For the first time, an exhibition, ‘The First World War I in Postcards’, can be seen through combining the viewing of the real exposition at the Russian State Art Library (RSAL) with virtual prompts using the Artifact app for mobile phones.
The augmented reality technology allows you to pay attention to the important details of the images, explains the artist’s intent, and the artistic techniques employed.
The exposition contains 22 authentic pre-revolutionary Russian postcards from RSAL’s unique collection.
