The Jubilee Exhibition of the Famous Theatre Artist Stanislav Benediktov ‘There is Nothing More Precious than Life ...’ Opened at RSAL
On October 21, the personal exhibition of Stanislav Benediktov, who recently celebrated his 75th birthday, opened in RSAL’s Blue Hall.
One of the most interesting theatre artists of our time, Stanislav Benediktov has designed about 100 performances for many Russian and foreign theatres. But the main theatre for the National Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Stanislav Benediktov is the Russian Academic Youth Theatre (RAMT), where he has worked for almost 40 years.
Art historians, colleagues, school and college friends, and admirers of his talent gathered to congratulate Stanislav Benediktov. Throughout his creative life, the artist has worked in tandem with his like-minded friend—Director of RAMT Alexei Borodin.
The exhibition presented theatrical sketches, mockups, costumes for musical and dramatic performances of various years, and easel works. The library supplemented the exposition with the works of Stanislav Benediktov in collections, books, albums, magazines with articles by the artist, and materials about him.
