The students of the 9th and 10th grade of the Boarding School had previously visited the Library during the exposition commemorated to the beginning of the World War I “From Russia to warrior host”. This time E.E. Shumyantseva, Head of the Cultural Programs Department, acquainted the girls with the history of the Library and the exposition of the Reader’s Museum. K.V. Tsyplenkov, Iconography Complex Department Consultant, gave a lecture on the evolution of female military uniform during the Great Patriotic War supporting the unique information with documentary photographs and collector’s items.

The students and their teachers greatly appreciated the opportunity given by the Library to know more about their country and asked us to continue giving such interesting and useful classes next academic year.
All who took part in the class became the Library’s readers.
